About the Author

Melissa Hahn is an intercultural educator, trainer and author based in Los Angeles. She teaches intercultural communication to master’s students at American University and is a cofacilitator of the Global Dexterity Certification. She also delivers workshops on cross-cultural communication and collaboration to global teams and institutions, and coaches new arrivals as they adapt to life in the USA. She additionally contributes articles about culture and global work at Harvard Business Review and is the coauthor of the recent book “Forging Bonds in a Global Workforce.” She has a Master’s in Intercultural Relations from The University of the Pacific in California and studied at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
