Plan Your Learning Year with Intention

Most professionals don’t fail at learning because they lack discipline.
They fail because they never stop to plan their learning strategically.

Courses get started and abandoned.
Books pile up unread.
Budgets for professional development go unused — or are spent without impact.

Learn to Learn is a once-a-year opportunity to pause, step back, and intentionally design your learning for the year ahead.

This is not a motivational workshop.
It’s a planning and decision-making session.

During this live workshop, we will work directly with the Quiet Tenacity Yearly Learning Planner — a structured template designed to help you reflect, plan, track, and evaluate your learning across an entire year

You will leave with a clear, realistic, and personalized learning plan for the next year — aligned with your goals, your capacity, and the realities of Canadian workplaces.

What We’ll Do Together

1. Plan your learning year — end to end

You will work with a structured yearly template to:

  • reflect on skills you actually need (not just what’s trending),
  • prioritize learning instead of overloading yourself,
  • map learning across the year in a way that is sustainable and measurable,
  • think through time, energy, and budget — realistically.

This is about learning with intention, not accumulation.

  2. Understand the Canadian PD & learning landscape

You’ll receive practical insights into:

  • how professional development budgets work in Canadian organizations,
  • what employers actually value when it comes to learning,
  • how to leverage internal learning, external programs, and informal learning,
  • where people often leave value on the table — simply because they don’t know how the system works.

This section helps you learn strategically, not blindly.

3. Examine habits, blind spots, and learning myths

We will look honestly at:

  • common myths about learning (including learning styles and productivity beliefs),
  • habits that feel productive but don’t lead to results,
  • why “more effort” often doesn’t equal better outcomes,
  • how neuroscience, behavioural psychology, and technology can support — or sabotage — your learning.

You’ll assess whether your current learning processes are actually helping you achieve results — and what needs to change.
